This Week in Campaigns 8/20/17

Each week we'll bring you news and events submitted by candidates vying for the Libertarian nomination.  All views expressed are those of the candidate and do not reflect the views of the party or its leadership.  This week we bring you news from three candidates seeking our nomination.

Brian Kresge

Brian's campaign announcement was picked up in a number of media outlets, including Waldo County's Republican Journal.  You can read the coverage here.

We'd also encourage you to read Brian's public statement on the incident in Charlottesville.  He offers insightful thoughts on leadership in this day and age.

Richard Light

Richard's campaign has been very busy this past week.  Richard and the Porcupine Crew conducted a needle clean up last weekend that garnered some nice press.

Catch them on Wednesday of this week when they'll be cleaning up Boothbay in the wake of an onslaught of KKK messaging. Event details can be found here.

Chris Lyons

The Midcoast's Free Press Online wrote a nice article about Chris' run for US Senate.

If you'd like to know more about Chris and his goals for the Senate, please join him--and let him cook for you--on September 9th in Ellsworth.  Event details can be found here.
